CONCEPT

The Shield Bag is your daily reach for leisure, work, events, travel, and most of all—carrying your beloved canine. Inspired by the antique hat boxes of high society and the curled brim of cavaliers and cowboys—it’s built to move from park days to private jets, farmer’s markets to board rooms, dog parks to evening soirées, and everything in between.

SHIELD

A single layer of saddle leather, fitted with our signature hardware, the Yacht Ring. It works three ways: two extra-large pouches, a removable mat for your dog, and a luggage sleeve that slides over a roller handle.

6-8 WEEK DELIVERY

Each Shield Bag is made-to-order by a single artisan. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery, which will improve to 4-6 weeks in the coming months. We currently ship within the United States.

BODY

Double-layered saddle leather front and back for strength, single-layered on the sides for flexibility. Short rolled handles and removable shoulder straps, and the double-layer bottom rests on six dome-shaped feet.

INTERIOR

Two small pockets and a dedicated laptop sleeve keep the essentials in place. Two D-rings on the side panels accept a removable strap that latches to keys, pouches, a dog’s collar, and more. A concealed AirTag slot makes tracking effortless.

MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Every Shield Bag is made by a single artisan, by hand, from start to finish—with love.

We had the pleasure of flying from Houston, Texas to New Delhi, India to meet the founders and artisans of Econock—shaking their hands, touring their factory, sharing a meal, and working through prototypes and packaging together.

The leather is vegetable-tanned and finished with a hand-burnished edge—slicked, sealed, and polished by hand until the edge is smooth to the touch and built to wear properly.

The seams are sellier constructed—a true saddle stitch, sewn by hand with two needles passing through every hole, so that if one stitch ever fails, the rest hold. This is the same method used to build a saddle meant to last generations. We’ve finished it in a tonal thread that sits quietly against the leather—a detail that you feel, before you see.

SIGNATURE COLORWAY

Oxblood is the House's tone of choice, inspired by the sage advice of the founder's father, while learning to dress properly as a child:

"You can wear burgundy leather for both casual and formal events. It pairs well with every color, including black or brown leather."

Burgundy leather in particular is a reliable, flexible, and timeless investment.
