A bespoke Kemo Sabe hat, torch-burned by hand in the Aspen store. The black felt is scorched across the crown and brim into drifts of rust and amber. The color pulled out of the material, rather than dyed into it.

A teardrop crown with a deep center crease, a wide flat brim, and a slim leather band. A sterling square concho sits at the front between two round studs, with a dark feather tucked behind.

Kemo Sabe felts their Grit hats by hand at their hat ranch in Gainesville, Texas, and the finishing happens in store, which is how one hat ends up unrepeatable.

Size 7 3/8, with a 15-inch brim across. Unworn.
