A singing bowl in dark-patinated brass, etched and gilded inside and out.

The interior carries a Buddha-eye motif at the center, ringed by scrollwork and banded borders. A line of Tibetan script runs the full circumference of the exterior, and the underside opens into a mandala, its segments filled with seed syllables.

Struck with the wooden striker, it rings clear and holds the tone. Run around the rim, it opens into a sustained hum you feel, as much as you hear.

The gilding is softly worn along the shoulder where the bowl has been handled most, exposing dark brass beneath.
